Beware. They rummage through your vehicle. I came outside to find someone rummaging through my center console. All I asked them to do was change my tire. When I asked why the person was doing it a mechanic came out angry telling me I better check everything now bc when I leave because I can’t leave and come back and say anything is missing. Rude!! They claim they were looking for a lock for my tire. There is no lock and it’s not needed to change the tire.

JUST AVOID: These are the homeless, low morals type, they work like a gang... I took my car to do inspection on May 2016, they put it on a jack and I was in the waiting room, one of their workers came to tell me that I have to change the brakes, this is not necessary for the inspection but they will never give me the paper I need until I change the brakes, and he is going to replace it for $340, I said this is too much I will contact my mechanic to see how much he charges. I called and the guy said he will do it for $200, I went to them and said get my car down the jack, I will go fix the brakes and will bring it later, their worker said he is never going to take it down and he offered to lower the cost of replacing brakes to 230$, I seen the devils in his face and I got scared for my car, and I just wanted to get done with the car, they were never going to let me to watch over my car if I insisted to get it down the jack, and so I felt that I am under their mercy , what do I do? do I call the police? I just wanted to get done and leave. I let him replace the brakes, and do the inspection , it ended all under $300, I had to get done and rush to work I was driving from Salisbury to Charlotte, I had a serious position in Charlotte. The car passed inspection and he replaced the brakes. I started driving on the 85.. Just 20 minutes on the road, the car heat went up to 260f…. I was driving it almost 100 miles back and forth to Charlotte every day and did not get a chance to go check with my mechanic until the weekend, who told me there is a hole in the engine cooling hose and one of the cylinders died already from the high heat… THEY KILLED MY CAR!!! You: better put your money in the toilet and flush it before you give it to these Criminals! Have mercy on yourself!

This place is HORRIBLE! Every car that he is trying to sell has been WRECKED, Junk Yard cars. He takes them to get bumpers and what not on them to make them look good enough to sell. They are the WORST mechanics in Salisbury. I took my car to him for two years and everytime he says it's a censor. Well it was not my censor took it somewhere else and had a vent cleaned out and what do you know:My check engine light has NOT been on since. All he knows is how to replace a censor. I took my car to him for a fan belt and what did he say:You need a censor. He DOES NOT know what he is doing. He will MESS your car up. He told me that my timing chain was messed up guess what that was three years ago and I'm still driving the same car and has NOT had a problem with my timing chain. I will NEVER take my car back to J&J tire.
