Ambiance (4/5): We came in at 1:30pm on a Saturday for dim sum and from the back entrance where there was plenty of parking. It was half cleared out already so it wasn’t very noisy. The inside is well lit and clean. Service (4/5): The staff seated us right away. There was plenty of staff members bustling around to clear plates. They provided a fresh set of plates when the chow fun came out! Food (3/5): $1 per person for tea. The dim sum dishes ranged from $3.95 to $10.95 where most of the ordered dishes were around the $5 range. Sadly, some were served cold/warm instead of piping hot. Beef Chow Fun (Dry) $17: It was served in an enormous bowl so there was plenty to share. The beef slices were super tender! The flat noodles were cut a bit too thin (personal preference). Glutinous Rice Dumplings (Hom Sui Gok): This dish was supposed to be served hot were actually cold. The inside of the pork/shrimp stuffing tasted really fishy. Fried Sesame Balls (Djeen Dui): This was really tasty! The inside wasn’t super sweet and the outer fried dough was crispy. Not sure warm but still crispy. Steamed Pork Ribs (Pai Gwut): This was also good. Tender bites and good flavor. Tofu skin roll: I liked this and the 3 pieces were thick and stuffed. Other dishes ordered but not tasted: Pork Siu Mai, Cheung fun
First time back in about three or four months and the Dim Sum remain average however service and attitude of employees taken a step back. I hope management realize this and train the employees in customer relations better.
Winning food for takeout. The lobster rice is delicious. Not too sticky rice and lobster is soft and tasty. Portion is relatively generous, of course you always want more lobster. Vegetables and meat dishes are on par with any other Asian place in the area. Parking is really easy in the back. Overall a solid choice.
Jade Asian Bistro provided a delightful experience reminiscent of classic Hong Kong dim sum establishments. The reasonable prices and flavorful dishes added to the overall enjoyment. The staff’s exceptional friendliness was a notable highlight, and the use of traditional dim sum push carts by the servers added a charming touch to the dining experience.
Good dimsum for the area! I used to come here a lot when I was younger, but the quality of food has definitely gone up in the last 2 years with the change in management! There’s more hot dishes served at dimsum/breakfast and the flavor/quality is great. The variety in dimsum options has gone down a little bit but there’s definitely more options in bigger dishes than before, including ????? (one of my favorite dishes). Service and atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect out of a dimsum place: lively, bustling, and warm. Will be coming back here more and totally recommend this place!
