Everything I’ve tried at Jamaican soul is amazing from ox tail to jerk chicken salad to their banana cookies and chocolate cake. I love it all and they play no games they get you in and out quick. Been going here for about 8 years and I’ll keep going as long as they’re open.

I ordered a large Oxtail plate Togo I only got 4 oxtails which came to a total $52 with the delivery charge! I feel robbed I’ve love this place and been a customer for years. However the portion sizes continue to shrink while the prices gets higher. I will not be supporting this restaurant anymore. I would have family eat there when they came in town a well as co workers. We all agree the portion size isn’t worth the price. Damn good food but definitely not worth the prices, definitely highway robbery. I’m very disappointed with the practices. They will continue to lose business if this doesn’t change. Very disappointed

Food is overpriced for a turkey wing meal that cost $28 which was mostly fat and bones with hardly any lean meat on the turkey. Also their sides has to be at least $6 for my meal to only come with 2 sides and charged extra for rice. Very disappointed in this establishment overpricing people with meals that should be under $20 I could've easily gotten 2 premium meals elsewhere with what their charging the community that's supporting them over the years. Never again will I play myself ????????.

They accommodated us for the holiday with pepper steak and curry goat and the food was awesome!! The service was fantastic the ladies definitely know how to take care of the customers and make you feel welcomed

I read a review from another about the gates of heaven having opened at the taste of this food.. they were not exaggerating. This food is INCREDIBLE!!! I couldn't stop eating, and every bite felt like a grandmother's hug. I believe it was the owner that actually served us, and she was so very kind and helpful, I could taste her beautiful Jamaican soul in the food, so this place is aptly named. We had the jerk chicken, cabbages and rice, and the curry, all were so excellent. The meat falls off the bone, every bite of it steeped in flavor. I can't say enough about this place, and we will absolutely be back many times.
