The collards were the best thing on my plate, the Turkey Wings were ok, but the Mac wasn't edible for me. For one it was sitting in grease, noodles were over cooked, just tasted to mushy and wasn't really cheesy even though it looked cheesy,also don't think it was cooked same day but reheated probably. And the cornbread was ice cold and kinda dense that's only way i can describe it. Don't get me wrong, everything else was decent and I'll try other items

Everything was pretty good! I had the Pork Chop Sandwich, Whiting Fish Sandwich, and Chicken Wings (4 Pieces). The sandwiches were pretty good and hearty, the cabbage collard mix balanced out bc the greens flavored the cabbage but l added a little sugar, the macaroni was definitely from yesterday's service but still good lol overall l give it 4.3/5 & l would try it again!

Now this place literally takes the cake!! An gives it to ya..food an service was above an beyond great..a total experience all the way around the board, seriously.. Love how helpful the people were.. now this is the epitome of service i gotta tell ya...from one restauranteur to another, it's definitely a place to check out if u ever wanna live life ya know

I ordered the 4 wings, mac and cheese, and yams. With peach cobbler. When I say this is the best soul food I've had since returning to the area it is. I was shocked as most places miss with one thing or another. Wings are fried to order, mac and cheese had a smoked taste good! And the greens was hitting. I put the little bit I had leftover in the fridge. And the greens with the soaked in seasoning yes. Sign me up for another plate, yes I will be returning and telling everyone I know to give them a try! Only think I say is why isn't everything available on menu cause I wanna try it all.

I was in town last weekend to visit family and I didn't feel like cooking, so when I googled places to eat this popped up. When I tell you the food was awesome, it definitely took me back to my childhood growing up in Washington Park and SSG, those greens were extremely well cooked, I loved the liver and onions, potato salad and bread pudding, please believe whenever I'm in town I'm definitely going to order from this place. Home cooking at it's finest!! I will be ordering food to take back home with me next time I visit!! ????????????
