I moved to the Norton area a few years back. Come inspection sticker time for my vehicle, I always traveled back to my old area to go to a service station I knew and trusted. Monday I decided to look into a service station more local and found Jim's auto service in Mansfield. I read the reviews and everyone spoke highly of Jim's that is now being run by his daughter Patti. I pulled up Monday morning for an inspection sticker. Patti was the first one to show up to work and I found her very friendly. They took me right in for an inspection sticker and Patti came out and told me that my rear brakes needed to be replaced an offered to bring me into the shop and show me worn parts. I was able to make an appointment for 1:00 the same day and came back for the appointment. Jim's replaced my brakes in short time and I was on my way. While I was waiting and having my car worked on I spoke with some other customers who all had nothing but good things to say about Jim's Auto Service. I'm glad I was able to make this find. Great service with fair and reasonable prices

Went there for an inspection on a Saturday and the woman who runs the desk and does the inspections was incredibly helpful and super nice. I had my car inspected at another place, got a rejection sticker for a bad ball joint, afterward I took it to a mechanic who told me there was nothing wrong with it. I took it to Jim’s for a second opinion and the woman brought me out to the shop to show me the joint, which was definitely bad. The fact that she took the time to show me the issue so I absolutely knew that I did have a bad ball joint (which is a big safety issue) was huge to me. She obviously cares about her customers. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. They clearly care about the customers they service.

This is the 2nd vehicle I have brought here. When I moved to Massachusetts I didn't have any idea of where to go for an inspection, So relying on my neighbours I went here. It is a small family own business which I choose to support more than big business chains that 2 inspections. You will find the people here super kind and friendly. I went there not in the best mental state as my father was in the hospital and the understanding I got was both human and sincere which is hard to find these days. Best place in the world to go For a vehicle inspection. It's really nice not having people try to upsell you things that you don't need. If I could give this place 10 stars I would.
