Fantastic gem of a pub, comfy, warm, subtle lighting, Roaring hot fire too! Had artichoke soup for starter, made by a 14 year old chef ..was the best soup I've tasted. Had steak on a lava stone for main and my partner had the lamb shank..both were absolutely outstanding and the welcome we received from the locals and staff was so good. Proper English pub. Highly recommend!

Went here to try it out as saw that by water and wanted to try something new. Menu quite good and prices are reasonable. Can tell a lot of locals come here which is fine. A lot of outside tables and nice view of water. Pay at the bar and then choose a table and the food is then brought out and they shout out ticket number which you get given when you pay. They take Amex here too. Plenty of parking here.

Lovely pub that allows pub stopovers in a van. We didn't stay in this occasion though. Fab location. Staff friendly. Food was great. We played some d school pub games whilst there as well. Hope to come back and stay over for the night.

Nice little pub with car parking. Didn't have food just drinks. Lovely friendly service. We did the ashlett creek to Calshot walk first.

Lovely water front pub, stopped there on my way back from the Calshot castle. The roast dinner was okay, the chicken was dry, and I did yind some pink inside. The roast potatoes some were still hard in the middle. Although the veg were cooked to perfection! The staff looked rushed of their feet. But overall, it was a lovely pub. I would return there again, just not for lunch.
