Reasonably priced pastries. Flan was too sweet for me but others enjoyed. Pastries were flaky. We were told it was a chicken empanada which was interesting because it had hot dog and deli meat.
The most authentic Cuban pastries and bakery in Little Havana. The employees treat the customers like family. The owner has been a staple in the community, and has been delighting locals, of all nationalities, for over 40 years. Premium food and fair prices. Most locals make this bakery their everyday stop, morning, noon and/or night. With fresh food made daily. It is definitely the locals favorite.
I recently purchased a few guava and cheese tequenos and what I got was nothing but a bunch of burnt thin pastry sticks. I couldn’t even see nor taste the cheese inside. The manchego croqueta I got was extremely cold in the inside, I was only able to eat half of it, and th evaporated milk cortadito looked more like a colada. I am beyond disappointed with the quality of the food based on the price!
