Food was okay but the staff member Dulanga was super rude. She didn't include the fries that were included in my combo order as she substituted a side of gravy I'd ordered instead. Obviously mistakes and misunderstandings happen, but when I went back to ask her about this she straight up lied and became argumentative, saying that she had asked if I'd wanted fries (not true) and doubled down hard on it. Bizarre. When I tried to order the fries separately she continued to argue for some reason. While I waited, 2 different customers came back about mistakes with their orders, which she also argued about and refused to admit she'd made a mistake. Won't be back after this experience.
The worst KFC in this area.. but they get customers because its the closest store to the University. They are supposed to close at 9 pm, but they lock their doors at 8:15-8:30.. they run out of chicken at 6:30 - 7. This is probably the only KFC I have seen without chicken. The owner is a stingy clown since he never hires more than 2 staff members to work at any given time. I am sure that he cheats on taxes by paying the staff in cash too. Just stay away honestly. Go to popeyes chicken which is like a 2 minute drive from here for better chicken.
KFC had a deal on this day-01/18/2024 at 4:30 P.M. The deal goes until February 11-2024, for $10.00 + HST Dinner for 2, includes 4 pieces chicken, 2 fries and 2 servings of Popcorn Chicken, plus 2 sauces. Although the pieces were on the small side, included 2 small breasts and 2 legs. To our surprise, this time the chicken wasn’t greasy, and the fries were freshly fried as were the popcorn chicken balls. All in all, I would say, this limited time deal was well worth it. Wife said service at the order taker was polite and accommodating. We’ve had the Tuesday Special in the past, and hasn’t been very good (was very greasy) and small pieces. Still doesn’t taste like KFC was in the 60’s or 70’s. They’ve changed their recipes obviously.
This is the worst place to eat. They cut one piece of chicken into two. The gravy is like black water. They’re not making the signature gravy that Kentucky fried chicken is known for and when I called to tell them, the girl just laughed. Also, I had to wait over 15 minutes very unfriendly. Keep your money in your pocket and go elsewhere.
Expect to wait at the counter for 15-20 minutes before even placing an order, another 25-45 minutes to handed your meal. The owners should seriously consider hiring more staff to help operate this store, especially if they want to flood them with delivery orders. There are currently 9 delivery drivers waiting on their orders, many of which have been here longer than I have. Terrible, pitiful, disgraceful, and in efficient way to operate a business. Just go to another spot.
