I hate leaving negative reviews, but this one has left me with no choice. In all fairness, my nails were done fine and how I wanted it. It was the customer service that was terrible. I haven’t had my nails done in many years, I suffer with anxiety, had some sad news this week and was just looking forward to being pampered and feeling relaxed to take my mind of things. The guy who did my nails started off very friendly and it was lovely having a chat with him. But within 10mins his attitude changed. After I kept repeatedly saying to him I need my nails short due to working with animals (I had acrylics done), he just wasn’t listening to me. On the fourth time when I told him it’s needs to be shorter than what he was doing and showing me he then lost his temper and raised his voice at me. He didn’t shout but the change on him was noticeable. It took me by surprise and I told him to calm down and not to speak to me that way. I told him for the fifth time I can’t have them long. He then decided to argue back with me and I told him I don’t understand why he can’t do what I asked of him. I was ready to walk out. I didn’t because at this point the acrylic nails had already been glued on. Then he resorted in being so rough with the filling, applying the powder etc. So rough that I knew this was personal. Such a rough & rushed job. He then shoved the nail colour charts towards me and told me to pick the colours despite him seeing the photo I had shown him of how I wanted them done. I said nothing and just looked at the charts. I actually was holding back the tears at this point. I was asking him to help choose the colours just to make the tension between us a bit better but he was clearly ignoring me. The girl next to me who was getting her nails done kept looking at me nodding her head assuring me she could see what was going on and winked at me to let me know it’s okay. That was comforting to have. Honestly, I wish I had just stuck with Angeline nails who I know are amazing. Such a horrible experience and has made me come out feeling worse.

Only leaving one star because the lady that done my nails was nice, she then passed me over to a man that just painted the tips of my nails, my friend was with me (she’s been a customer for a very long time and comes in about twice a month) my friends nails were done, she asked me if I wanted a drink she was gonna go to the shop (we were very vocal about this) she left her bag on the chair and when she left the guy doing my nails asked me if I was gonna pay for her nails, I was confused and said no why would I pay for her? He said well because she’s just left is she coming back? (He said this with attitude) I said of course she’s coming back her bag is on the chair next to my bag & I explained she’s gone to get some drinks. To which he said absolutely nothing. He then yanked my hand and told me to stop moving, which I wasn’t. Never coming back here, neither is my friend.

This was my first time visiting Kimberleys and I was not disappointed! I had take off and new set with design, I showed them the photo and they got it spot on what I wanted! I've attached photos of what I got and the image I showed them ?? The staff were very friendly and welcoming, I will definitely be going there again.
