After a 50 mile ride, I found it to be an excellent little restaurant. When in that area visiting I will be back. I told a friend last week about it and he has already eat there 3 times since then. Hey Mikey!! He likes it!! Or Karl, in this case!!!
I love meat and three restaurants and this is the best one I have experienced in several years. I had the chicken liver plate with green beans, great northern beans, and sweet potato casserole. everything but the sweet potatoes was really great. The casserole was basically just mashed sweet potatoes and definitely needed brown sugar and pecans. My wife had the fried chicken and it was perfectly fried and quite juicy. The two of us ate for $20. I will definitely stop by again when I'm in the area.
I had the grilled cheese and the macaroni and cheese the grilled cheese sandwich was absolutely great what would have made mild just absolutely over the top over the moon and back would have been a single or two slices of pickle
The food was fantastic. The staff was attentive even though they were busy, especially for a Monday.
Kloe’s is a great stop for good, wholesome country cooking. It isn’t flashy, but it’s simple, local and tasty! Great value for money too on their Entree plus 3 side options meal. This place deserves a bigger dining room given how busy it often is, whether at lunch or dinner time! We moved to Jasper a year ago and regularly order take out from Kloe’s, but have dined inside plenty of times too. You know the food is good when it’s always filled with the local PD and all the golden oldies. My tiniest nit pick is sometimes I feel like the service could be mildly better, but this is not because we’ve ever received poor or rude service, more it seems that due to their popularity, they often seem a little busy and I just think this high demand means their wait staff don’t have quite as much time to spend with the customers. But that’s if I had to pick something negative to say. Otherwise we love Kloe’s!
