This is absolutely the most authentic Korean food in the boulder area. Every single dish here is so mouth watering good, and there is something for everyone. The server is a extremely nice man (dont believe the 1 star reviews) and always recognizes us when we come in! I can not recommend the veggie mandoo dumplings enough. They are my favorite dumplings of all time! You can't go wrong with anything there though.

LOL… really should’ve read the reviews before coming in. What all the other 1 stars state are true. The owner really forces his own political beliefs down your throat, and he repeats it endlessly. The food was also a joke. Look at the portions.. all of them barely cover the bottom of each dishes, and my mom really lost appetite because she could tell the ingredients were not fresh at all and they felt like they were made from leftovers. The owner kept speaking his beliefs even when we were eating, that only after we spoke up that we’d like to eat, he left. He brought the bill while we were eating as well.. like he was ready to have us out. From the moment we entered his restaurant to the moment we left, it had been less than 30 minutes. Everything was rushed and so were our minds because we were so so uncomfortable. We were the only people at the restaurant, and the whole experience was the most uncomfortable out of all I’ve experienced. Stay away.

I wanted to like this restaurant so bad. I have friends who absolutely love it. The only difference I can decipher is.. They happen to follow the owner's unspoken rules of not sharing plates. I've never had such an awkward experience with a server before. The food itself was wonderful. Yes it's expensive, but in my experience most Korean food is. We ordered an appetizer and two entrees to share. When the entrees arrived, he asked where to put the plates. We said we were sharing everything, as we typically do at Korean restaurants. Then he started ranting about how in America we aren't supposed to share plates. He said "Please don't share" with a strong tone. We were left confused and bewildered. My boyfriend was afraid to eat the delicious meat in front of us because he didn't want to offend or upset the owner. The food was tasty but we were left feeling confused and upset. We are the type of customers who are very patient with service. We are quiet and polite. And to have a restaurant owner tell us we were doing something wrong by sharing plates.. Very strange to us. I had high hopes for this place but was very disappointed. I'm kind of glad the other reviews let me know what I was getting into. No, the plates aren't too small, but they might be by American standards. Yes, the music was loud. Yes, the experience was uncomfortable overall.

My new favorite! This place was so so good! All the food is super fresh, made there. We had amazing service by the chef and the food…all the flavors! Absolutely delicious!! I could not believe when the bill came…a generous glass of wine, three appetizers, four meals and two desserts…barely over $100! If you want amazing flavors, super fresh homemade Korean food for an exceedingly reasonable price…this is your place for sure! Already can’t wait to go back! (And for those people worried about the portion sizes…I think they’re use to “American” portions. We all left feeling full and very satisfied.) Thank you for a wonderful dinner Korean House!

I’ve been here on 2 separate occasions and both times were super pleasant! The older gentleman who took our order was kind, knowledgeable and was honest about how the food flavor changes with different ingredients. For example, I wanted to add more eggs and veggies to the Yukbaejang and he said it distorts the flavor. I prefer to have someone be honest and tell me something if it weakens the flavor of the plate. It’s also Korean dishes, which I don’t have much taste experience with, so I’m going to happily take the waiter’s advice. Our food came out quick, both times. It was approximately a 10-15 minute time lapse before we got our food. The menu is simple enough to know what you want right away. The menu items aren’t all over the place, it was simple and organized. The music and environment is very cultural and sweet. There’s ornaments, wall decor, the entrance to the restaurant has a bunch of antiques and decoration that is welcoming and catches your eye. The other reviews have said that the owner or chef or waiter don’t stop talking to you, are rude, give their biased opinions, and other related negative experiences. I feel bad for them, but that hasn’t happened to me. Neither time I went did I feel like he intruded on our time, or anything bad. The most the older gentleman talked was when he brought out the beer selections and gave us his opinion on the best one. I would come here again, they serve delicious food, music wasn’t too loud (and they played normal Korean music, not all of it was k-pop), the waiter was kind, and I want to come here again!
