Located in the food court at the Georgetown Market Place Mall… Always fresh and always tasty. They don’t skimp on portions. Last minute Chinese food cravings satisfied.
I ordered the kung pao chicken with rice last night and sat at the food court to eat it. The texture of the first few bites of chicken seemed off (I’ve had it many times and normally enjoy it). I then had a piece that was completely raw. I spat it out and my husband was also able to see that it was entirely raw. It was so disgusting I gagged. I immediately went back to the restaurant to inform the lady behind the counter that had served me. She actually offered to give me another serving from the same batch (we were sitting within view of the counter and the container had not been replenished since I had ordered as it was filled when I arrived). I told her again that the chicken was raw and cannot be served and needs to be disposed of. She she okay and offered me another kind of chicken which I declined as I was completely put off. I returned to the table while my husband finished his meal. At no time was the chicken removed. Upon our departure I asked again if she was going to dispose of it and she said yes, but she had been too busy (only two customers & a food delivery driver had attended in the 10mins or so that had elapsed). We watched from a distance and again, there was no attempt to remove the tray of food. I was appalled. About four hours later, once home, the stomach pains began, as well as diarrhea, vomiting and a low grade fever throughout the entire night into the morning. By afternoon, I’m still dry heaving, as there’s nothing left in my stomach. I know it was from this meal as that was literally all I had eaten yesterday. I have since contacted public health. I wish I had done so immediately but I do realize mistakes can happen and I like to try to be fair. However, it’s the blatant disregard for dealing with the issue once informed that has left me feeling the need to leave this review. Had the staff taken immediate steps to rectify the issue, I could be more forgiving.

My co-workers and I order lunch from this place via Uber Eats often. Thursday August 10th we placed an order for 3 meals. Needless to say, we will not be ordering from here any time soon. My 1 co-worker got sick immediately after we finished lunch. He was sent home; stayed home throwing up all day Friday, and all throughout the weekend. Still not feeling well with today being Monday. My sister didn’t start getting sick until we got home later that evening. She as well has been unwell and throwing up since Thursday night. She stayed home from work Friday and it has not gotten any better. She’s not able to hold down any form of food or liquid without throwing up. She has been brought to the hospital this evening who have confirmed she has food poisoning. I personally was feeling a bit uneasy on Friday with a weak stomach but just figured I would eat something and it would go away. I did not start fully feeling the effects until Sunday night; when I started throwing up all through the night and into today. The food is usually delicious and fresh- not sure what went wrong this day.
Chinese foods available here and its good! Sesame chicken, bbq chicken, mushrooms, noodles are one of their best food to try here. Recommend to people who wants fast, easy meals. Try their other foods its all good. So far, foods that I bought didn't have any issues.
