This place has the best food I've eaten in Truth or Consequences! I went here with a friend for dinner. It was a Wednesday night and not very busy. We were seated right away. We were given chips and salsa to munch on. Our server was attentive but not overbearing. My friend got a burrito. I opted for the ultimate enchiladas. The portions were huge. We both ate plenty and brought home at least ? of the food on our plates. The food was really tasty. My ultimate enchiladas plate included black beans and refried beans and really good rice. Unfortunately, we were too stuffed to eat dessert. I'm thinking of going back here for my birthday dinner. Why didn't I eat here sooner?

Service was excellent and friendly. Atmosphere was cozy, but not cramped. The temperature of the restaurant was pleasantly warm and not freezing. We were not rushed out. Just passing through: Food was excellent! Fresh. Green chili sauce had a bit of a kick, but excellent flavor! The tamale was well flavored and very large. The ground beef tacos had the perfect flavoring – not too plain and not too much. You could really get the flavor of the beef as well as the seasoning. We definitely gave our compliments to the kitchen!

This place has been around for a while. We refer to it as the Mexican restaurant on the hill. This is my go-to place for dinner. I have yet in the many years I have gone there to finish the ultimate enchilada, atacked 4 high with rice, beans and quacamole. It's very tasty with the right amount of spice to it. The place is always busy.
