Went there today and noticed it's new owners. So i hesitated a bit to go in but we gave it a try. I orders the Enchiladas Caceras and my husband got the nachos that were not on the menu but were offered to him and when we got our food, my husband's nachos looked okay but my enchiladas were not what i expected. It was 3 tortillas layered in shredded chicken. But the amount of meat was too much. The Mole sauce was barely on it. More sour cream than sauce. The salad and rice were good i didn't eat the black beans. The flavor for me as a Mexican/American person didn't do it for me. When looking at the menu selections, i didn't see anything eye catching for me but I LOVE mole. So i ordered the enchiladas caseras because of the mole sauce. So as far as authenticity, no i feel it is not authentic nor homemade. As a chef myself, less shredded chicken and more sauce would have made this dish way better or even putting the chicken in the mole sauce and filling the flat tortillas would be a game changer, Even though the tortillas were not rolled. More like a taco bell pizza if you ask me. Before this restaurant was sold, the food was amazing. My favorite place to go to once a month. You could tell the authenticity of the food, especially the mole. Oaxaca mole with sesame seeds was amazing. Would i go again? Maybe. If i can't find another place near by. I think that this is more texmex than Mexican. The new name of restaurant says it all. With an American pallet, i would say they would love the food. But for me it is a 2 out of 5 stars on food taste. For now, hopefully that changes in the future.

The restaurant was clean, but that’s the ONLY positive I can give this place. We arrived about 20 minutes after they opened; and I ordered two cheese burritos with the red sauce. My food came, and it was as if they made it in a microwave. Some spots were boiling hot, and others were ice cold with unmelted cheese. Horrible food. The waitress seemed annoyed by our questions, and even more annoyed when we needed something. Don’t waste your time coming here.

Food was outstanding! From the chips and hot homemade salsa to the entree, Pollo Sureno, everything was flavorful and well proportioned. The service, was less so. I chose to eat at the bar, as I often do when dining alone. I ordered a margarita and asked if chips and salsa would be coming. Yes, they would. Marg was served and several minutes later the chips and salsa came out. No water was provided nor was I asked if I would like water. I did without. It took a whole for the food to come out, but it was worth the wait! So good! I ordered a second smaller marg and enjoyed every bite of my meal. I only ate half the meal, wanting to save the rest for an evening snack at home. I waited about 10 minutes for the bartender/waiter to return and asked for a box. He brought it and left. No check. Another 15 minutes went by and I finally had to ask a waitress if I could get my check. She caught the bartender and check was finally delivered. The atmosphere is nice and colorful. However, the air conditioning was not on and the inside temp matched the outside at just shy of 85°. Too hot and uncomfortable, I actually left sweating. Even with the sub par service and the heat, I will return. Though next time I may order carry out. ????

Amazinggggg Experience absolutely wonderful!! Shout out to Winston for being a spectacular and attentive server. He catered to all of her needs and ensured that our meal was made perfectly! Most definitely will be coming back and the food was WONDERFULLY delicious!!!!!! It’s unfortunately sooo under rated and there needs to be WAYYY more people in here for how good it is. But God is good and hopefully their time of fame and fortune will come!!

ANOTHER UPDATE: Stopped in here again. We wanted a Mexican meal, but again, didn't want a TexMex delusion of authentic dishes. LA Hacienda didn't disappoint as usual. It was very busy, Friday and Saturdays are. We wanted a booth, but so does everyone else, so we waited and eventually got one. Seating staff is very helpful and accommodating. This time, things were a little off in a couple of areas, service and drinks. The food was outstanding as usual, I had the Hacienda Fajitas, the picture shows it in a cored pineapple. Huge amount of food for the price. The drinks, unfortunately, were not up to par when ordered. Long Island Ice Teas are our go to drink, so we know how they should taste. You have your choice, basic or top shelf. We get the low end, this is actually the best way to see how the bar makes them. If the low end is on point, you can bet the Top Shelf is it. Well, this day they used a mix, and it wasn't good. Bartenders and management will allow them to use a pre-made mix, but it was way off. Too sweet. We tried to add a shot, but the mix was overpowering. I went to the bar with the drinks and told the bartender what the problem was, she readily made the effort to fix them, and who I can assume was the manager, asked what was the issue. Once I explained the issue, stated he would take care of it. I said I had already asked the bartender, and they went out of their way to fix the issue. A good sign that the customer is important. The food was great, drinks were disappointing, but fixed by the staff. My recommendation is that if you have an issue, be sure to tell them and they will make it right. We will be back, because they do make a concentrated effort to satisfy you however they can... Went back today, in the area for lunch/dinner, and was not disappointed! Dishes were absolutely what you would expect! Service is great, very attentive. Try this place if your in the area. UPDATED REVIEW: We found this place by chance, gave it a shot. Strong drinks, great food. Mostly authentic dishes, but you can see the TEX MEX influence. Dishes are good and large portions. Lots of screens for news and sports, Hispanic stations too! Service is good too! Update: Went back on Sunday in July and it seems that the place has changed a little bit. Menus are different, greeted nicely as we entered. Same atmosphere, no changes to the decor. Food was good, better in fact. Menu items are different and we ordered a few things, all were well above expectations. Drinks aren't as strong as we remembered. Pricey, but then everything has gone up, those have too.
