Lily Garden

Was in the area so decided to give it a go. The food was about average for a Chinese takeaway. I had my usual salt and pepper king prawn, satay chicken main course and egg fried rice. The prawns were not really king prawns as such and unfortunately lacked flavour and the carrots were raw with it. The satay chicken was nice but could have used more chicken inside and the egg fried rice was a good portion. Got free prawn crackers that were fairly good. Was ok overall but just average overall.

I have only just been eating her recently as my previous Chinese was going down hill. This place just has amazing texture food. But Saturday 10 Feb you could see on collection that they was very very busy. She communicated with the prosses of the food while I was waiting. I just wanted to put it out there, their customer service was 10/10.

First off the food flavours were there but it was like the quality of the food wasn't, like the salt and pepper chips and salt and pepper prawns were soggy like they had been cooked and then microwaved. Or they just didnt allow the steam to escape when they put then into the containers (Tip for future when they're cooked put holes in the containers to allow the steam to escape keeps the chipsand batter Crispy) As for the rest of it like mention above its like the quality wasn't there, like it wasn't cooked fresh and had been microwaved in advance. Not much beef in the beef and black bean. On a positive the Sweet and sour chicken HKS was lovely. The staff are lovely and friendly. Just was expecting alot better after the rating and reviews it has.
