Clean, fast and friendly staff, good tex mex! Liras is a staple in Laredo, and I was so excited that another location opened up close to my home. Same great taste. I will continue to visit on the weekends when I can. I love ordering the Biscuits (a la plancha) - so buttery. Their barbacoa is phenomenal!

You should serve the barbacoa fresh out of the main pot because I had my order under the counter and it was cold when I got home

In an area where McDonald's is getting 5 stars, temper your expectations for the highest rated Mexican restaurant...puro Laredo. This is a breakfast spot with a simple menu, but they offer smoothies (ice, milk, and fruit)! It seems that everything comes with barbacoa (cheek meat). Bi-lingual staff...or at least I assume bi-lingual because we communicated in Spanish.

Great food and service but disappointed to be charged $6 for a half and half (unsweetened tea and lemonade) also prices on the menu do not reflect what we were charged for plates as well. They should most definitely update them and update their cable service. TV picture and sound was terrible and a distraction to have a good conversation with my invite

Decided to stop by for some breakfast. Ordered 3 Barbacoa tacos and a small menudo bowl. If watching your sodium intake I do not recommend. But since I don't care about salt, let me just say it was very delicious.
