Decent food, disappointing experience. While Los Potros may have just grown up and moved into a real restaurant building as opposed to a little taco stand where you had to eat outside on picnic tables, their customer service needs some maturity, as well. Just ate there for the first time since they moved. Still don’t have any napkins, instead offer coarse folded bathroom paper towels. Great for drying hands, not so good for wiping hot sauce off your face. Speaking of hot sauce, they guard it very carefully and you have to go up front and wait to ask for a tiny little cup if you need more. Would be great if they could mirror what other Mexican taco joints do and have hot sauce available in a common area in bottles to use at the tables. Also, I ordered 3 big street tacos, but was only given ONE tiny little 1/8 of a lime that wasn’t enough to coat a single taco. Waited in line to ask for a few more limes and was told I would have to pay for them. Seriously? The food is decent, but they’ve got to work on some of these other things.
Hands down the best tacos anywhere my husband and I have been here in the states. The owners are friendly as can be and if you’re looking for a true, authentic taco, this is your place. Simplicity at its finest!
Small but good place to enjoy Mexican food. They prepare it fresh and authentic. Order can be customized and they make sure to take care of you with smile. The person returned back apologizing that she didn’t tell us to enjoy the meal after handing the box over to us. Must try.
The sign says it all, I wish I had known about this place sooner. The tacos are delicious and fresh. The prices are affordable enough that you can get plenty of variety to fill you up. Three tacos does it for me but could easily eat five if I wanted to. Don’t miss the spicy salsa and wash it down with a grapefruit Jarritos.
They have moved to 106A E. 8th St, Columbia TN. Same great food.
