We stopped here after doing a few trails at the gorge. The woman running the show was friendly. Lots of good menu options, we had a hard time picking. Went with the Philly and the Stromboli, chili cheese fries. Everything was hot and fresh, and tasted great. Didn’t need to wait too long after ordering at the counter. No frills, no spiritual experiences, just good food at good prices.

From TN, did an overnight in KY. First time visiting the area, arrived later in the evening & the Lunch Bucket was the closest place to get food from our cabin. It is small, but the menu is huge & food delicious. A lot of choices at very affordable prices. It's made to order, so you may have a 10 - 15 min wait, but well worth it. We are a family of five & only spent $30 - $40 for all of us, impossible any other place. We already have plans for another on visit & staying in the same area. We will definitely be coming back to the Lunch Bucket & it will be a favorite go to for our family. Thank you for the great food & service, it was wonderful!

We ordered omelets one night and were hooked! They were made fresh—right after we ordered—and were loaded with quality ingredients. We stopped by for lunch the next day. The stromboli (loaded!) was excellent, the tenderloin sandwich was tasty, and the fries were crispy. Funnel fries with powdered sugar were a sweet way to have dessert. Best of all, the women who run the Lunch Bucket were fun as well as efficient. Don’t be fooled by how tiny this place is. They’ve got a lot of good going on.

The food was great but the service? Even better! Those wonderful ladies were an absolute pleasure! We were pleasantly surprised to see such an extensive menu! If we could rate it higher than 5 stars we would. You can see they're clean, which is another thing we greatly appreciate. We got a cobb salad, deep fried breaded mushrooms, chicken nuggets with fries, a burger, a BLT and last but not least, a cinnamon roll. Everything was on point. They have outdoor seating and it was a beautiful day. We will be stopping here again next time we visit the red river gorge!

Been to RRG 5+ times and this is by far the best breakfast I’ve had. Prices are from 2000 which is nice. Omelet loaded and biscuits and gravy plater plus 2 coffees was around $15 after tip. It’s cool to order so isnt immediately but you would wait 3x at any restaurant in town and quality wouldn’t be as good.
