The pedicure was amazing but when it came time to do my nails, they were way too thick and they knew I was there to have a design done and they gave me someone who doesn’t know how to do designs. I’m a bride who was planning on having everything done here for my wedding. I went to Organic Nail Bar to get them fixed.
I was a big fan of this salon a few years ago I’m not sure what happened but my last few visits were not good. I went to get a dip powder manicure about two weeks ago and it chipped within 5 days, when I went back she redid the entire thing for me because it was very clear it was not good and wasn’t going to last. I expected a discount or free of charge service (mind you I spent $90+tip my first visit) but no- she charged me full price and gave me a $10 coupon. I was very annoyed but she insisted this manicure would last, fast forward one week later and it’s even worse! I’ve spent over $150 within two weeks and my nails are a wreck. I’m not impressed and not sure if I even would spend money here again to use the coupon or have them fix it. Very unsatisfactory service
Very nice nail salon, relaxing atmosphere. Standard pricing and the pedicure was also straightforward. Jennifer did my manicure and she made me feel like I could ask for whatever I wanted. I'm not usually shy about getting nail design, but without fail the nail technician usually makes me feel bad for asking or as if it's a burden. This was the first time I felt encouraged to ask, and I got exactly what I wanted as a result. Only had my nails done here once, but it was standout service that deserved to be recognized.
This place used to be good but the last visit 2 weeks ago, was TERRIBLE. Some messy guy started my pedi and didn’t fill the soaking bowl at all. He applied callous remover and wrapped my dry af feet. Then he started on my cuticles, still no water, no soak despite asking him for it several times. When I demanded that I didn’t want him to work without softening the skin at least a little, he stormed off for 20 minutes. Then he had someone else do my pedi. He was incredibly rude, clueless, and stank of cigarettes.
Everything you wish for you nail needs. Unlike other local salons, Luxi is extremely clean, spacious, works without appointments and friendly. I got a special student pedicure and a manicure with free couple of minute shoulder rub. The gel manicure has lasted for over 2 weeks even after cleaning and dishwashing every day. Just didn't get the hands soaked on water before the manicure, which they usually do in other nail salons.
