Good food, family diner-type feel where it feels like 1995 with the cigarette smell, booths, and lottery in the corner. Most of the customers are familiar and they easy going with one another, and the staff is very friendly. I got the catfish entree (delicious) which came with a side of garlic rice, salad, and toast- wish I took a picture before I ate it all ????
Best place for breakfast, lunch and dinner if u want a at-home taste without cooking.
I had the 2x4... two eggs, scrambled, two pieces of toast, two sausage links, two pancakes. Rony had the hot links, hash browns, and toast. We first went to Pappy's down the street, but, they would not allow us to plug in our dying cell phone. I look to my left, and a child had her phone plugged in so that's why I felt it was okay. Now we have a new place to go.
Shrimp omelet was excellent. Other guys i was with got the shrimp grits and were not impressed. The owner was very friendly.
The food is great, and inexpensive. The whole place is super friendly, staff and customers. Everyone greated our children and made us feel welcome. I'll sure we'll be back for breakfast again. But I don't think we'll try any later in the day because smoking is allowed indoors and I would imagine that gets worse as the day progresses.
