Great place for a relaxing bite with gorgeous views of the river! You are right on the water and the atmosphere is very welcoming! This place has amazing tacos! I highly recommend them. I also tried the salad which was tasty and they accommodated the pulled pork on the side. I have heard their sandwiches and hot dogs are also delicious. I also had some of the huckleberry ice cream and it was delicious. This place is very relaxed so expect to stay here a while as the service is attentive but not fast. I think this place is really well lived by the community. The atmosphere is very welcoming. Not wheelchair accessible. Clean bathrooms. Street parking.

What a peaches place for breakfast! We found it on our family day out and were pleasantly surprised. The location is the reason you go. There is a small walk downhill from the parking lot, a good amount of seating, mostly outside. The restroom is an upgraded outhouse in the middle of the hill from the parking lot to the restaurant. Food is basic, nothing too special, but well cooked. Very family friendly, they even have a nice little shelf full of toys and things to keep your kiddos occupied. **CASH ONLY**

Nice hidden gem along the St. Croix River in Marine on St. Croix. Had no idea this place was here because you drive back through a neighborhood off the main road towards the river and come to what looks like a big shed with an old sign on it that says Marine Landing. You are in the right place! Park in front the shed and walk on the left side of it to get back to the restaurant. There is a small indoor area to sit at, a covered porch, or a deck right next to the river. You can order off the breakfast or lunch menu from 8-2 and they have a Friday dinner as well. I had the breakfast with 2 eggs, choice of meat, hash browns, and toast (gluten free available) for $9.50. Pretty standard diner type breakfast. The meat and veggies are from local farms. Hash browns and bacon were crispy and good. Small menu but they take requests for sides, substitutions and said the menu is more of a "guideline." Food is nothing spectacular but the ambience of being on the river is pretty great. And they do NOT accept credit cards so come prepared with cash or check! Only open Memorial Day- Labor Day and closed during the winters.

It's no surprise that the location is the top feature of the Landing, sitting right over the St. Croix River. This is the place you go to relax, as you can see from the deliberately unpretentious, tongue-in-cheek menu. It's full of comfort food staples that taste delicious after a day out on the water or camping out in one of the several nearby state parks. Many options for burgers and hot dogs: customize with toppings. Breakfast focuses on eggs and meats, with options for pancakes or french toast. Kind service rounds out the full package. Check out the view from the porch!

NOT the place to go with a group on Sunday morning. This place has way more seating than they are able to accommodate in a timely manner. So our large group (10 people) was able to be seated with no wait. But then it took over half an hour to get coffee, and another full hour to be served food. Servers were friendly and did apologize for the long wait. Food was average, nothing at all special. The outdoor seating and view of the river is excellent, and our wait was at least comfortable. Service must be better when they're not having a breakfast rush, or I don't understand how they could possibly have such a high review, even with their amazing location. As others have said, they still don't take cards. Cash or check only.
