Cheap drinks. £2.08 a pint. Good classic pub. Good beer garden out the back. Spacious inside with a few draughts on tap. Quick service. Unfortunately no contactless so bring cash. Locals are nice and dog friendly in the beer garden. Huge car park out the back.

Still closed (19Sept) but looks lovely???? It was being (13thJuly) renovated ready for reopening. I see scaffolding and SS brown paint. Will open any time now. Will check and report. It WAS a good pub but has been closed, dead and cold for years. I hope it opens again when the owners (SamSmiths) find a new manager.

It's been closed for over a year now. They have just finished a refurbishment but it's still borded up months later. Maybe they can't find anyone to run it?
