I wasnt sure what to expect a brown woman in a small village pub visited predominantly locals, but it was friendly and non intrusive, I didn't have to worry. Though remember to take cash as I had to scrounge around in my bag for change to pay for half a pint!

Nice typical country pub with pleasant secludedgarden, though garden might benefit from a makeover. Good views over parkland.

A great local pub. No TV. No music . Just chat, laughs and drinking. Sadly no food at the moment but once they get a chef....

Lovely pub, quaint full of olde English charm but it could be better, it's in area popular with walkers & cyclists but if after a long walk you're after a warm drink then don't bother visiting! They don't do hot drinks - bloke behind the bar directs you to the walkers hut in the old school which has now closed (although a new facility serving hot drinks will soon be opening and will be run/maintained by the estate which will be a very welcome addition to the area for the walkers that visit here), struck us as odd that despite being a few metres down the road he didn't seem to know this! Also odd that a lady was sat in there drinking a hot drink! And if you choose to have a cold drink it's cash only (not many people go out with a pocket full of change these days!) We had no cash so left without a wish to return any time soon!

A good place to begin and end a walk from. It's a small old fashioned pub in the middle of rural countryside, nothing fancy, but reassuringly comfortable and friendly. Nice beer garden. Cards not accepted - cash only.
