Such a nice experience at this coffee shop. Food was amazing, coffee tasted great and the staff were all kind. Definitely recommend!
The secret cafe hide from tourists in George street, Mayvn cafe locates seamlessly with luxurious Eden Locke aparthotel offer the study/working space with the art touch. My friends brought laptops and sit and other people come to read or chitchat. Their fresh orange juice is alright . Their pain au chocolat is not impressive with the bitterness from a burnt. Still their cake is quite delicious for example, elder flower blubbery. It’s sweet but succulently delicate. The baguettes both meaty and vegan are also good according to my friends so I guess I will come and try next visit to confirm this. The decoration is very artistic and cozy and the staffs seems friendly and not giving the disapproving gaze when I come to read or do some work. My friends enjoyed coming to this inspiring cafe when they are tired of the view from the main library.
Had such a warm welcome entering with my dog this morning. Coffee was lovely, perfect flat white. Comfy seats and great aesthetic.
It's definitely not hidden as some might say and full of people taking the space without even having coffee. Only one member of the staff on the floor and she took over 20 mins to come and ask for the order. Most people around were simply having tap water but people were being turned down at the door. Simply not worth the hype
I love the place, a lot of plants, great atmosphere, the traditional Scotland cake was super delicious, the coffee was creamy a little aside because it was a celsius coffee. Very stunning place.
