Mon Amour Coffee & Wine

The ambiance at Mon Amour is undoubtedly charming, with its clean and tastefully decorated interior. However, my experience was marred by several disappointments. As a self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur, I found both the cappuccino and latte to be lacking in distinct flavor profiles, leaving me underwhelmed. While the food didn't reach the level of being terrible, it also failed to impress. It's worth noting that all their offerings are prepared using a toaster oven due to the absence of a full kitchen, which may limit the culinary creativity of the menu. But what truly tarnished my visit was the treatment I received from the owner. Despite being a regular customer who always makes a point to order, I was singled out and asked to leave because I wasn't planning to purchase more items and needed to give my seat to other customers. This directive felt unjust, especially when I observed others lingering without making any purchases. Feeling humiliated and confused by this interaction, I made my way to the register to settle my bill. However, the owner's lack of acknowledgment or apology further soured my impression of the establishment. The busy wave slowed down, and there were more seats available, but at that point, the damage was done. It's disheartening to say that despite my initial fondness for Mon Amour as a small business in my community, I won't be returning after this unfortunate experience.

Mon Amour was definitely a HIT!!! Specially when you’re starving and wishing for a cup of EXCELLENT, delicious, fresh coffee. We were lucky enough to arrive just in time to take the last empty table. We came right after Sunday Service at my church and apparently a lot of people came here for the same reason as us… the place was packed, the ambiance was GREAT, you could hear everyone talking and still enjoying the music… the vibe here felt soooo great!! Their service was TOP NOTCH, even with just 1 waitress for the whole place and while it was PACKED, she made sure she covered every table and made several rounds to see how everyone was doing. I can’t wait to be back… Their food was definitely of the bestest best best I have had… everything was freshly made and they “cook” right in front of you, which made it even better, you can actually see why this place was so packed! They are very careful with the food and loved being able to see that! Everything about this place was ABOVE AND BEYOND EXCELLENCE!! Coffee, food, service, every category deserves 5+ Stars. Can’t can’t can’t wait to be back!!

Great find in the neighborhood on this side of the town. Nice ambience with relaxing music, a great combination. I tried latté and pastries, and they do cover a lot of grounds. Latté was on the light side but with good fragrance. Another plus for the shop, I left my credit card there and the staff came out and chased me down. Good people!
