What a nice place to stumble upon in the heart of Woodbridge. If you want a drink, snack, light-bite or bigger meal this is the place to visit. Our order was taken and drinks served swiftly then, In appropriate time for fresh cooked, our food arrived. Well cooked, tasty and of good portion size... highly recommended. A special mention too to Heather, our smiley and customer-focused server.. Thank you, we'll see you again.
Pipers was packed when my wife and I arrived around midday on a Saturday so we fortunate to seated as a table became vacant as we entered. We ordered a pot of tea for two and sandwiches. The tea was served after 10 minutes (we had to ask for the table to be cleaned at this time) our food arrived some 50 minutes after we had finished the the tea.Had we known this at the time of ordering we would have gone elsewhere. The sandwiches were adequate the delay was unacceptable
Got food here today within 5 mins of finishing my food, I got a vile upset stomach... either food not being stored properly, or the fat or the oil is not being changed regular.. truly can say im very disappointed ???? ????
A quaint little place, very inviting, the menu is quite simple food, however it is done incredibly well, the tuna mayo and Sweetcorn baguette was so fresh and delicious - it was also enormous! Good value for money. I also had a soya milk latte which was very nice too. Other people had soups, toasties and battered fish which all looked devine. Really good for a simple bite to eat.
The food itself was decent and the one member of staff did their best; however, the cafe was extremely short staffed, especially considering it was lunchtime service. As a result, we waited nearly 40 minutes for a baguette and two toasted sandwiches. There definitely needs to be more than one person serving to reduce waiting times to a suitable length.
