I took my dress into Myrna with only a month until my wedding and she was leaving the country for most of that month. I bought my dress as a size 10 dress it was the only one they had in the style I wanted but I was a size 20 at the time. I spent a year losing weight last 95 lb and got down to a size 14. But I was nowhere near fitting into this dress no matter what I did and only had a month until the wedding so I chose the best reviewed seamstress and went to see if there was anything she could do for me. She got back from her Vacation a week before my wedding. I needed the dress let out several inches, a new back panel, new strings, breast cups and adjustments around the bust, a bustle for the train. She spent less than a week on it. And Now this dress fits me as if it were sewn right onto my body. And you CANNOT tell where she did anything. It looks like it just fits magically without an alterations at all. I am beyond impressed and she more than exceeded my expectations. This was a size 10 dress. Now it's magically a size 14.
Fantastic service! They literally got me in on a Friday very late in the afternoon and had my suit pants and jeans done for me the next day since I had a flight Sunday morning. Not only did they really help me when I was under pressure to get it done but they did so with a smile! Highly recommend!
I’ve never left a bad review but this warrants one. I came in 2 & 1/2 weeks ago with a bridesmaids dress & 5 slacks. I told her I needed it done before the New Year because I was moving to the East Coast. I asked her if this would be an issue, and she said not at all. She said it would be done 30 DEC. I spent over $200 for all of my items, I go on 30 DEC and they are CLOSED until 03 Jan. I am beyond livid because I SPECIFICALLY asked her if she would be open. She said yes they would just be closed by 11 or 12. I leave the state 03 Jan. I am so upset. Tried to call, no one answers, and voicemail box is full. This is awful customer service when I specifically asked about the time line, if it was too short of notice, my move timeline and everything. Failed her new customer. My receipt even says “due 30 DEC”. Don’t bother coming here.
