Wonderful bakery. So small if you blink you will miss it .although small in size they have a great variety of baked goods , coffee is good also ..and can't beat the prices.!! The bakers are very kind and welcoming. Support your local Italian bakery .!Its the last one standing in this neighborhood
Cute bakery. Prices so low. Quality so high. Adorable place.
I’m trying to figure out if this was the same Italian bakery my mother used to go to when I was a little kid in the 1950s? Was there a bakery near or in this location back then? Did it have a dark (shiny black?) storefront back in those days. Is it the one a couple of blocks away from PS 113? If it is, we absolutely loved it. We lived on Bronx Blvd, but unfortunately, moved out of da Bronx in ‘64.
My experience has always been great. I have been going there as a child. My dad had a store a few doors down. Now I'm 49 yrs old & still go there when I'm visiting NY. They still remember me going there as a child. Everything there is very good & fresh all the time. If you want real Italian breads & cookies it's the place to go.
This is a great little Italian bakery on white plains. Be careful, you might walk right past their storefront! But it opens up into a fairly impressive bakery shop. They have best donut I've ever had. I usually only like cake donuts, their standard donut was really good. Maybe those expensive Manhattan donuts might be tastier, but for the price of one of those, I got 3 donuts and 6 bagels. I certainly will be going back for their loaves and cookies, will update my review.
