North of NOLA Restaurant & Bayou Bar

This is a must stop eatery in Hampton. We were greeted with an off menu starter (which was amazing). And the team of North of NOLA followed that up with awesome service and an excellent meal. Do yourself a favor and take a few steps of ocean boulevard and give this place a try! Updating to add that the breakfast here is also a must try! You won’t find a more flavorful breakfast scramble in Hampton! Service during breakfast hours was equally notable!

This place is amazing, definitely an A+ spot for cajun style food on Hampton Beach. So far I have tried breakfast, lunch, and dinner and everything is fantastic. Really good specials, Shrimp and grits, jambalaya, biscuits and gravy, blueberry french toast. Full bar. Love it here and great convenient location.

Decided to stop to check out North of NOLA and we were excited to try some authentic Cajun food. The owner came out to greet us personally. We ordered the fried green tomatoes which were very good and then the owner surprised us with his own take on shrimp and grits (on the house!). The atmosphere is clean and breezy on a hot summer day. Nice that it’s a little quieter off the strip. Overall very impressed and we will be back.
