The food was tasty. The service was amazing. Dakota served us very nice. The only thing that I would say is don't overcook the boiled shrimp. Boiled shrimp ???? only takes 5 to 8 minutes to cook. Other than that, everything else was tasty.

This is probably the 2nd best soul food buffet I have been to. There's one in Wilmington NC that is better simply because of the ox tail and chittlins. Old time had pig feet, neck bone, turkey wings and some of the best shrimp and rice that I've ever had. My waitress seemed very polite in the beginning, but that quickly declined. Her friends came in and she spent most of the rest of the time I was there tending to them and talking, so I only received 1 refill of soda. But the food was really good and the restaurant is nice.

Great variety and tasty! So many selections, something for everyone! Interesting to sit down at the table and see others plate, wondering how you missed that food item. Also must mention, it is affordable and many ways to get an even better discount. Wonderful experience overall.

Came in on a Friday around 1130, not busy, was greeted quickly, and it gave me homey vibes, the cashier was having a conversation with what it seemed like to be a regular, the floor was sticky, I did notice that. It is a refurbished Golden Corral and the set up is familiar. Hot food side, salad bar, and dessert bar. The hot bar has so many different options! Greens , blackeye peas, cornbread, rice, cabbage, taco bar, fried green tomatoes, fried fish, fried shrimp,(which was delicious), mac cheese, broccoli cheese and rice casserole, shrimp fried rice, veggie fried rice, bourbon chicken, teriyaki chicken, neckbones, steamed crawfish, pot roast, shrimp cocktail.... just everything!! The salad bar had 2 types of lettuce as ell as ur standard salad fixings, pasta salad, potato salad, jello... Dessert bar several different varieties of sliced cake.. carrot, chocolate, and a pink iced cake. As well as cookies , banana pudding , bread pudding and peach cobbler (which was also delicious). And also a slushie machine!! And a popcorn machine! I didn't see an ice cream machine, but they do have a variety of ice cream ream bars in a freezer unit right next to the bar. Everything I had was pretty decent. I enjoyed the huge variety. Service was ok. She did come.a check on us a couple of times. I do like how the have the silverware and plates set up as well as hand sanitizer station. It's something for everyone there. I would visit again if I was on that side of town.

This place is kind of like a budget version of Golden Corral. They were out of a few items and some of the food looked like it had sat there awhile. The fried chicken was overly crunchy like they used old oil The banana pudding was very good. The pink cake was really good The shrimp was over cooked. I don’t think I would go here again but was glad to have crossed it off my list
