Booked for 4 adults + 4 Children. Traditional old style pub. Homely decent priced food that was just perfect after a day out walking. Great service from the 2 helpful + friendly ladies ????

First visit with my husband. We had lunch. As soon as we walked in, it felt warm and welcoming. Perfect size menu and owner/lady behind the bar was very friendly. We will definitely be returning and will highly recommend to friends and family. Thank you.

Stopped for drinks here after a walk starting from the lovely village of Wellow. The staff serving behind the bar were really friendly and welcoming. Had a pint of Olde Red Lion ale which was £4 and very refreshing. Seating inside and outside. Pub is small with low ceilings and bags of character. Will definitely return and sample the food next time.

The food here used to be really good but sadly it isn't the same quality it was. Quantity of food on the plate is generous but the meals are not as tasty as they used to be. Whether they have a new chef or the chef has just lost heart I don't know. Sad as the people who work there are friendly and the overall atmosphere of the pub is welcoming.

Have been going to the Olde Red Lion Wellow for the last 8 weeks after not being there for many years . We were made to feel welcome straight away, the staff are fab and always there to help xx Food is great xx atmosphere so homely and comfortable xx Sian and Roy
