Really lovely bakery, very friendly and helpful staff who always make me feel welcome. The bread is the best in the area and it has a lovely traditional feel to it. Can’t beat a cream and apple puff either…
You can smile and be nice all you like but it’s not reciprocated! Shame service is so poor-staff having their own conversation while trying to serve you . It’s not what you expect from a local business… customer service is everything! This aside-enjoyed the food even though crusty rolls were now chewable. Price wise….4 crusty rolls, 3 Eccles cakes and a large seeded loaf were over £12! A bit excessive I felt but everything is expensive now
Lovely old fashioned bakery, lovely bread and cakes, staff always happy and polite. I would recommend a visit.
The bread I purchased this morning was very hard on the crust. Staff very engrossed in their own village gossip. Not a very welcoming place I'm afraid.
Excellent bakers that is family run. Know the owner well and couldn't recommend more highly!
