Came here with my girlfriend, I wouldn't say it was exactly welcoming at first. It's a local old school type of bar. Well know in the neighborhood. They do sell food but like any local bar that does you have to catch them at the moment everyone is ordering because its literally one person behind the bar. Prices are good and if you want to chat over some games and a drink this is the spot. Reminds me of the Alibi from shameless.

Great locals pub. Pete the owner makes one of the best bacon cheeseburger ever. The beer is good. The ambiance is down to earth. Covid friendly. Clean men's room.

Beware of this place. The owner has obvious discrimination against Asian. I came here with my friend for the first time because of its good rating on Google Map. We tried to order something but was told by the owner that there was no menu. We asked if he would recommend anything but was refused. We then asked what drink he could offer but he didn't want to say anything. Not sure what's wrong with this guy but he certainly didn't want to do business with us. Never have we experienced anything like this and we left immediately.

I love this place because the owner does not put up with people who over indulge in alcohol, etc. This is a neighborhood gem. If you are looking for a place with drink menus or fancy recommendations I would suggest the Peach and the Cloud in New Brunswick.
