We have had the fish and chips many times, it’s usually is very good, tonight the fish and fries were so full of grease it was hard to eat. We could only eat some of the fish but not the fries. Even my grandson couldn’t eat the fries. The breading on the fish was also full of grease. Pictures s of the napkins show how much grease was on just a portion of the fries we tried to eat. Very disappointed and in speaking to the kitchen manager was equally disappointing.

Place is great most of the time, but lately it seems they haven’t been changing the fry oil. Everything fired has a burned old oil taste. Great place great prices, but change the oil

We really enjoyed the food. We went back today for our 2nd meal. It is a nice little hometown restaurant where many locals seem to go. Both times, there has been just one waitress who stays busy, so expect to do a bit of waiting. At least these two trips, it was a good thing we were not in a hurry. We have only been for lunch, I don't know how busy dinner can be. It was a little too loud for my 87 year old mom. We had to turn her hearing aid down. Their fries are skinny and cooked perfectly. I get the onion rings and they were also very good. You get a decent portion, so you should not leave hungry. Both times, husband got the crab BLT. His bacon was crispy the first time and limp this time. I've had the shrimp pubboy and Buffalo shrimp wrap, both delicious. Mom had the chicken Ceasar wrap and said it was "amazing" which is her favorite word. We will go back, my husband wants to try the rueben. I usually get water and put a sugar free packet in to flavor it. Both times it tasted funny, so I don't know how the water tastes.
