Was named like a pharmacist who created Coca Cola. Is a place just north of Centennial Olímpica Park and have 3 of the world’s most unique attractions: Coca Cola World, Georgia Aquarium and The National Center of Civil and Human Rights. You can enjoy all three cause are walking distance. Is beautiful. For the place you don’t need ticket, just for the attractions and is better if you buy a City Pass.
A verry nice setting in the heart of Atlanta! Decorated well for the winter season with plenty of views of the skyline of Atlanta as well as a few very large venues!
I give the Aquarium 4 stars mainly for the Sea Lion show. Food is definitely not cheap. It was $54 for myself and my husband. Each an entrée and one drink. The aquarium is 2 floors yes, however the second floor is viewing for what’s on the bottom floor. Little deceptive there. You can definitely get through it in one day. We spent about 5 hours then walked Centennial park after. There is not any exhibits that allow you to feed or touch any animals. The dolphin show was cute as well. Take a rain coat if you plan on sitting in the first ten rows.
The aquarium is a must do if you visit Atlanta. You can view all kinds of aquatic life. Life from small tiny species to a 27ft 8000lb whale shark! There is even a dolphin show that do flips 15ft in the air. Everything is broken up into self guided paths allowing you the take it all in at your own.
Top floor excellent view to look over the city. Kurt is a wonderful job showing around to the rooms and his knowledge was on point.
