They were well equipped when the power went out with their back up power.

Meat dept is terrible with service and customer engagement. They all pretend like they don't see you. There's a Hispanic employee and she was the only person worthy behind that counter. I recommend it this place as a last resort type of shopping.

Dear Sacramento Customers, This is the manager of People Supermarket. He acts like he is the most entitled person and doesn’t care about any customer. He is extremely disrespectful and doesn’t care about customers, especially the elderly. To prove this behavior, I have a video from the camera in the store as evidence. My mother has a disability and the employee in the photo told my mother to go to the last register, despite being the next person in line. The employee said she said #2 but my mother and I heard her say exactly #4. I walked to the employee and said we were in line first, but she didn’t care and let the person behind me go first. Regardless of what line, it’s inappropriate to tell the elderly to go to a different line after arriving and letting the person behind rush in front of me. It makes sense why the employees are rude, it’s because the guy who is the manager in the photo is very rude and the way he talks is demeaning to women.

I stumbled upon this small supermarket last year and was impressed at how cleaned it was and still is. It is easily the cleanest Chinese supermarket I have seen my entire life. Throughout the entire store, they have clean shiny epoxy floor. Although small, it has all the components of a full size Chinese Supermarket…dry goods, meat/poultry, seafood section with live seafood, produce, and barbecue sections. The barbecue section was “spotless”. I also noticed all the high traffic areas are spotless as well.

This is one of the worst supermarket I ever shopped. The customer service is absolutely terrible and rude????????????????????! The seafood department has no one employee to provide any services. Waited over 10 minutes and no one shows up. I have to seek out other employees to help but none offered to help????????! The meat department has 5 employees but everyone of them ignored you and when asked for services, they gave you the dirty looks like you brother them????????????????.
