Just get the shredded beef tacos with green salsa. Just do it. Better: They're only 99¢ on Saturdays from 1-4 p.m. 99 cents!! (Now, I have to try the rest of the menu.)

I use to have lunch at the “old” Pepito’s before the “new” Pepito’s was built, Pepito’s has a good menu full of great Mexican Food choices. Prices are very reasonable. The Chili Verde Burrito I use to get back in the day still taste exactly the same. If your in Highland CA give Pepito’s a try.

The food is excellent. I usually go inside but today for the second time in 2 weeks, I tried the drive thru. Big mistake. Going on 35 minutes now and only one car has moved. I would guess I’m 5th or 6th in line. 2 times in a row, they got me. This is ridiculous. This is gonna be an hour long drive thru trip. Update…. Drive thru wait was over an hour. Unacceptable.

I ordered the garbage burrito. It was a good size and a very good price. I thought it was a mistake. The problem was, there were so many cold ingredients on it, that the whole burrito became cold. The cheese never melted. There needs to be some quality control on their food. Also, Carne Asada can be seasoned a little more. I might try them again, but wouldn't go out of my way. I'd go for the good prices.

This is one of many I places I frequent. The food is great, the staff is friendly and energetic. They make you feel that they like their jobs. You can get great values here. You cannot go wrong coming here for a meal.
