The only good thing is the service as you see below the cheese sauce is like this I got a number 11 it tasted and looked like it came from the dollar store they also were out of most of the food. My drink tasted like mud. We could also hear a microwave beeping a lot and that's how your food is made

Picante Grill used to be my go to Mexican Restaurant. It's always had that quiet "Mom and Pop" atmosphere. Ambiance was pretty basic, but the food was good and portions were large enough I usually had to take some home with me. Prices were fair. Today I visit after a few months of being away from Clinton, and find signs hung all over the restaurant proclaiming their prices have gone up a dollar on every item on the menu. Just posted everywhere. Kinda thought that was tacky. Just change your menu... Anyway, the chips and salsa that traditionally came with the meal were the same, but I noticed the chip basket was noticeably smaller. When the meal came, it was obvious the portions were considerably smaller than previous visits, at a higher price. I get "inflation", but this seemed to be..I don't know..gouging? The quality and taste of the food was just as good as always, so it was OK. Just...OK

The food here is delicious period the portions were small but the service was very good.

This place was great. Amazing food with constant service. Prices were great for the food. Definitely recommend stopping in.

Not sure if the chips where going stale or not. Cheese sauce was unmistakably from a tin can - had to apply lots of salt to make it taste like actual cheese. Salsa was decent. Food was decent for the price. Wouldn't be my first choice to repeat. Service was pretty good though.
