Wonderful authentic Portuguese food and wine. Big portions of freshly cooked food served by friendly family staff. There is also a huge selection of freshly made cakes that all look delicious! Excellent value looking forward to another visit.

Amazing meal this afternoon at picapau! Very friendly welcoming atmosphere went through the menu with us to make sure we each got something we would love, lovely outdoor and indoor seating I got the tuna salad which had been got fresh from the market that morning, it was absolutely delicious perfectly cooked with beautiful flavours, my partner got the octopus which was equally as stunning The coffee is also really good matched my pallette perfectly, we got a cake to go as we were too stuffed but they looked too good!

Lovely coffee and muffins. Friendly owners who enjoy a nice chat too. Will be back.

This place is amazing. And the lady, Crisrina is super lovely. Being portuguese I was really happy to find this place, because I was working in town for several weeks and it felt good to have some food that transported me home.
