Our experience was phenomenal from the moment we walked through the door, our server recommended A grapefruit martini which was wonderful and we had the Filet mignon, which was cooked to perfection, and the sides were delicious mashed potatoes and mixed seasonal vegetables. I highly recommend the Placida Grill.

This is my GO TO neighborhood bar and restaurant when I feel like going out. The owner is almost always there working hard, the service is exceptional and you can tell that the staff like their jobs, the drinks are STRONG, so be careful if you're driving, and the food is consistently very good. Everyone talks to each other and the atmosphere is very welcoming.

We were driving by and decided to stop in. The Hostess was very polite and told us we should of made a reservation but she went and checked bar and we got seated right away. We decided to order drinks and food to go since we were at the bar. OMG was the margarita I ordered SOUR.... Was not expecting it to be like eating a lemon and could not tell if there was actually alcohol in drink or not. Our food to go came but getting check & paying for food took about 30min. We went down road to park to eat and by then the fish and fries were cold. Tasted good would definitely

Ordered the fried chicken special. It was served and looked great, but the entire chicken breast was cold barely cooked with 95% of it still red/pink raw inside. OK, mistakes happen. Our waiter took it back to the kitchen. The second attempt was also a disaster; this time the chicken was half cooked, still 50% of the breast was a cold solid pink. Our waiter apologized once again, and I was not charged for the meal, paid for my beer, and left. I did not receive a management apology; no management sought me out to at least acknowledge the problem. Should I conclude my experience is uncommon or why else would management ignore a customer served raw chicken twice? Maybe I should have acted obnoxious to get management’s attention instead of acting understanding and mature about the experience. It was apparent, based on the wait times customers were experiencing to get served, this restaurant does not have the staff to support the customer base. Or the kitchen needs some lessons. I want to like this place, but if you go, I suggest you do not order the tartare fried chicken special.

Hi! Visiting from Seattle and my friend has just moved here. We are trying out the local fare and Placida grill was first stop. Fried green tomatoes were great as was the big beautiful burger. Also doing a margarita "study" and these were perfect. Nice live music to top it off
