Delicious Cuban pastries, cakes, empanadas, croquettes, Cuban sandwich, and the best pan con lechón asado (roast pork sandwich)! The staff is very nice too!

Bakery is in a very popular shopping mall. You can buy fresh baked Cuban style bread and your choice of delicious pastries. Expresso will definitely perk you up for some happy shopping in an area of friendly people.

Made a purchase with a CashApp card and attendant told me to press "no tip" and i asked why, does the machine automatically add tip? She said no of course not, so I walked away and my CashApp text alert showed an additional 0.79 cents overcharge. I walked back in and questioned why was I over charged? The attendant that originally took my order insisted that she had advised me of the surcharge and proceeded to point to a paper stating it and I told her that if that were true I wouldn't have come back to question the charge. In an instance all four attendants got involved and began shouting over each other and accusing me of always having something to complain about. I notice the lady owner by register and I asked if those were her family members or simple employees. I told her that as a customer and they should not be going off on me, for questioning the charge. I told her she should curb them, because that was not good for her business. As I was leaving I over heard the oldest and loudest of the bunch, tell the owner that next time ???? should through me out. I got so upset over the whole insident that i had to write this review. Not planning on ever stepping foot at this tiny, tiny establishment with unruly bunch of uneducated people.

There is no other place that does the pastelitos de carne like Plaza Bakery. The picadillo inside is well cooked… the whole pastry is delicious especially when it comes right from the oven! Their cafe con leche is second to none: always made the way you like it. Mine is oscurito y con azúcar, and when I walk into the bakery, they always personalize it~ already know my preference and say, “Oscurito y con azúcar?” :)
