Would never come back here. My cat would make a better job creating design and shaping nails. If you want to go to another salon right after to make sure your nails look decent, go ahead and book an appointment with them. Nails have different shapes, very thick, simple lines look like have been drawn by a 5 year old. I was tearing up after this place :/

Just got a pedicure at Professional Nails and it was very relaxing. I have been going there for years and have always had a great experience. I love that walk ins are welcome and you never have to wait to long. David the owner is great and remembers everyone by name and makes you feel welcome. The Salon is always being updated with new chairs and the latest nail colors and trends. I always get the no chip. I highly recommend Professional Nails if you need a manicure and pedicure

I have been coming to this nail place for the last 5 years. I live in Algonquin but go past several nail salons to come to Schaumburg. I started out with Cindy who served with a smile and always gave advice then, she left and I started having Linda do my manicures and pedicures she does a great job to the extent that I made an appointment so she could do the same for my 81 year old mother whom I convinced to come out in the cold weather. Unfortunately we were late so they gave us different ladies to do the manicures and pedicures. Vivian who serviced me was gracious but Natalie who took care of my elderly mother didn’t want to cut her toenails she clearly expressed an aversion to touching her. When she was asked to do the manicure she hesitated and I had to ask to end our service before completion and find a different nail salon. Am leaving with great disappointment.

This was the worst experience I’ve had at a nail salon. My group of three called earlier to let them know we were coming. They said we could come at 5. But because of Uber cancelations, we got there at 5:20. When we walked in, the guy rudely asked where we were. He got right to attending my friends nails. No soaking, no complimentary beverage, nothing. Didn’t even offer a cuticle cut. Although from other reviews, it seems like they cut a lot of people so whatever. It took ten minutes for someone to wrap my old set in acetone. Then I sat there for 30 mins not being able to use my hands. I asked the young girl sitting on her phone to take them off, and she lightly hand-filed them (usually they would use the electric filer at this point) which did nothing. When I complained, the older lady stopped working on the third girl to start on my new set. There was no communication. I said I wanted gel, and she went right in with the same powder she was using for my friend’s acrylic set. My friend (with her unfinished nails) asked if the younger girl could finish her. Apparently she wasn’t a nail tech at all. Two other customers came in during this time, and they really started rushing on us. The lady was so harsh on my nails. And you can see she didn’t take her time by the job she did (my white tip is uneven). When we went to pay, the guy didn’t tell us any prices and even covered the amount when asking for a signature. I would never recommend this place. $51 for this… and I’m pretty sure he charged a tip cause he knew we were unhappy.

Everyone is so talented and very friendly! The owners are so warm and they do a great job on dip manicures. My dip manicure always lasts between 3 to 4 weeks without any chips.
