Was very pleasantly surprised to find this gem whilst en route back to Toronto Pearson Airport. Had a few hours to kill & needed fuel for the rental so pulled off the freeway, found a gas station then went for a local drive in the Hemi Dodge Ram (great fun!). Lovely food, very friendly and as a Brit, I was starting to get withdrawals as it had been several days without a curry! Had the Chcken Vindaloo. Different consistency to a UK version, was more like a Bhuna in consistency but lovely all the same. Highly recommend. The sweet counter is awesome too. ????

Pure Punjabi as the name suggests is a pure Punjabi experience and a delicious one at that! I got the Amritsari Kulcha and the portion is so huge for the price. The kulcha has tasty filling and the chhole is well cooked and appropriately spiced. I also ordered Masala tea which was quite underwhelming and bland but I won't hold it against them because I think everyone likes their tea differently. My server Veerpar deserves a special mention asshe is extremely sweet and well mannered! The place overall could benefit from a little more cleanliness i.e. sticky floors and oily salt sprinkler can be a deal breaker for some!

Just got home to find the Jalebis I bought a few hours ago were stale and dried out. This is horrible. This is my second time buying sweets here and now this will be my last. These should have never been out for sale.

We ordered a veg thali, but it came with a naan, raita, rice, gulab jamun and three sabjis – daal, chole, and a third one that was just gravy. There was no paneer or kofta, and it was overly salty.

If your are looking for South Indian biriyani style a big no in this restaurant. They have completely pure Punjabi style everything. But I like the taste of lamb biriyani, chicken is not that great though.
