From the outside, was a bit unsure of this pub but on entering became speechless. Thought at first it was a Scottish themed pub with so much memorabilia from North of the border. Found out, ableit several weeks late, they were celebrating Burns night. They had a raffle where you could various items, including Tennents Extra, Shortbread, and an Orkney Island tea towel. The highlight though was the Bagpipe finale! Never judge a book by its cover, a priceless pub!
We absolutely love this pub. It used to be our local until we moved away from Salisbury, and we really miss it. Tony and Carol are brilliant, really friendly and welcoming. Good home cooked food, a friendly atmosphere and decent drink, what more could you want from a local. Highly recommend.
We were out of towners in a VERY local's pub, but we couldn't have been made more welcome. Lovely pub, lovely people. Definitely worth a visit. Thank you.
