This was my first visit to Red Apple in Portage. The server was extremely friendly and the food was delicious. I ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich which not many places have that but it is by far my favorite! It was really good and my daughter loved her cheeseburger and fries. Not to mention a heaping mound of cheese curds. If you're in the area or just passing through, it's a must stop!

We came here last minute because we wanted breakfast but it was more like lunchtime and we were on the road. It was DELICIOUS! We all finished every bite and left stuffed. The cinnamon french toast is a little smaller than the pancakes but it was yummy. It is a bit firm but really tastes good (do not judge it until you have buttered, syruped and eaten it). I had the corned beef hash skillet and my daughter had to have some because it was so good. My husband had the country skillet and said the gravy was delicious. We were so glad we found this place and will surely make the trip back when we are in the Dells or Madison area.

We are doing a really cool road trip before gas prices make it undoable, this gem in Portage Wisconsin is Amazing! I was totally in the mood for a good small town breakfast and this place is exactly what I wanted. I got the Farmers Skillet and it came with two pancakes, so much food for $9.99!! And it’s not only the quantity but it’s absolutely delicious. If you’re riding by or even if you’re not, this place is worth the drive. The staff was also incredible, small town, happy, and friendly. Everything I love about America!

A great place for breakfast. I would recommend the simple two egg breakfast. I typically get the hash browns and sausage links. It comes with your choice of bread. The French toast and Pancakes are delicious as well. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. I always get take out, so I can’t speak of table service.

Husband got a skillet he loved it! He also ordered biscuits and gravy. He loved the gravy the biscuits he didn't eat. Gravy went into his skillet. He had a hard time putting his fork down! I got the corned beef and eggs. The serving was big and the food was delicious! My scrambled eggs were super fluffy! Corned beef hash made just right to my liking. The waitress was very friendly and made it a pleasant breakfast. Will definitely be back!!
