Okay I was doing laundry at the laundromat on 21st and Memorial and a lady named Linda that works in there is very very nice and helpful I asked her to watch my stuff and that I would pay her and she said no I'm not going to take your money I'm here anyways I don't mind doing it but maybe you could just give it to somebody's homeless or something I really want to do something nice for this lady because she values her job she's very friendly and whoever her boss is needs to know this woman is a outstanding employee
They will not give you your money back like other places, and people had to come here which aren’t from over here to do laundry due to the electricity being out. 6/22/23 and the workers do not speak English/ bilingual which makes it harder to communicate with people.
Long review, but needed: This place is clean on the inside, the workers do a very good job at keeping the inside clean. They are all very respectful and help out the customers when needed. They do clean the parking lot. Some customers are more messy than others. Not everyone picks up after themselves the customers are constant. I'm sure it's hard to clean around parked vehicles. This place is pretty cheap especially with drying. If you use $20 to fill your card, it does take out a $1 as a fee, but $1s, $5s, and $10s have no fees. I did notice by the second time I washed there that some of the money on my card was missing after my previous wash and dry. The numbers are crazy as well. It doesn't add up with the quarter amount the machines require. So for example, if a machine is $4.00, $2.75 or $.25 why does my card have a balance of $5.10 on it or $5.30, $5.65? This place isn't as cheap as some people would expect. They are still making more money especially from unsuspecting customers. The longer you're away to use the card like a week, the more your balance decreases on the card. That's just my observation. Basically, the key is to load only the amount you need to wash that day. Don't keep more on your card than you need for the day. Watch your balance too. Check before and after your wash/dry to see how much was actually used. Other than that, a great place to wash clothes.
I dread laundromats more than most anything but this location with it's friendly and helpful staff is the only one I will go to. Always clean and I even won free laundry just by loading my card to do wash. Highly recommend checking them out. They stay pretty busy so I also recommend going either first thing in the morning as they open or mid afternoon so you can get in and out avoiding the crowd. I use Mega loader $7 and I spend $1.50 to dry everything.
Very clean laundry and helpful attendants. Prices are reasonable. For a double loader it's $2.75 and $.25 for 8 minutes on dryer. Their card machine instructions were easy to follow.
