Good cousine, fresh and tasty food, very nice service.

Small quaint restaurant. Ambiance takes some getting used to but is homely. Clean. Separate bar area for smokers. Friendly service. Food OK. Price performance top.

Very friendly and original innkeeper, nice rustic atmosphere just like you know it from before... The menu is nice and clear. The food is also rustic, typical home cooking, but freshly prepared with love and beautifully decorated. Here you can also get a beer for just two euros and banana wheat for €3.20, where else can you get that in a restaurant these days...? All in all, a great price/performance ratio! We felt comfortable and if we are in the area again we would love to come back! The only downer is that unfortunately dogs are not allowed in here...so our beloved furry friend had to stay in the hotel room...so unfortunately we could only stay for a short time...

Actually no star at all. It's on the internet and also on the door until the kitchen is open at 8 p.m. We were there at 7 p.m. and were immediately shouted at. "The kitchen is already clean" - and they immediately shooed them out with their arms. Exactly the same thing the day before. Then I thought - OK, everyone can have a bad day. But being rejected so rudely on two days straight isn't possible. We had the impression that people from outside were not welcome. Too bad. We really liked the GDR atmosphere. We then had dinner in the castle on both days. Was very good.

Great value for money, no question. Food was ok, but nothing special, the fries were a bit weak and had to be added salt, but it was quite cheap. The ambience seems to have stood still somewhat in time. The service wasn't unfriendly, but it wasn't exactly charming either. All in all, it's okay, but nothing that you couldn't make at home with at least similar quality. It was a shame that only cash payment was possible. The clock was a nice gag.
