Serendipity Cafe

Popped in on our way to Derwent Manor Hotel, we reserved a table, staff were extremely nice, and both meals were lovely and reasonably priced. The cafe is licensed and dog friendly

Anyone looking for a place to eat, I would 100% recommend Serendipity cafe! It’s a little gem! ???? We visited today for some lunch and I already can’t wait to go back. From start to finish my whole experience was amazing. Fast attentive and friendly service. The staff were amazing and so welcoming. What a beautiful menu they had. They have something for everyone. My mother had the prawn cocktail. She said it was packed with prawns and the salad was fresh, tasty and full of flavour. I had the homemade beef lasagne. Wow! Best lasagne I’ve had in a long time. Full of flavour perfect size and to top it off it was served with beautiful garlic bread cooked to perfection and a side salad that was crunchy tasty and full of flavour like my mother said. Such an amazing little cafe serving delicious food! I would recommend this place to anyone. Will definitely be going back! Thank you again! 10/10 ????????????

What a lovely place. The lady running it really couldn’t have done more for us. She was so welcoming a made sure she did everything to make our visit to her cafe perfect. We had sandwiches (hot and cold) and they were great. We had hot and cold drinks and the mochas were amazing. She’s very welcoming to cyclists, filling our water bottles and we’re told it is a regular haunt for local cyclists. She says they’re particularly popular on Sunday when some other places aren’t open. Thanks again for the lovely welcome.
