The food was amazing, large portion sizes. The service was the best I have had in a long time. The owner even came out and spoke with us. I surprised at how well the inside looked. Everything was very clean.
Enjoyed the food. There was enough to bring some home. They were very accommodating and cooked one shrimp bag with no butter no seasoning.
Decided to try the spicy boil bag despite seeing previous people complain about it not being spicy enough, and let me tell you. Either they were wrong, or this restaurant upped their spice game. I'm a big spicy eater, and I was very satisfied. Also, their shrimp rolls are Amazing!! We will be back!
I got chicken and sausage gumbo and my girlfriend got the fried fish and shrimp to go. The gumbo wasn't a rue at all it was like a gravy and the rice was crunchy (i couldnt even finish the small portion i fixed for myself). The fried fish and shrimp plate was soggy, didn't have any flavor and the shrimp tasted old. I ordered this to go and was told it was going to be 10-15mins. I didn't realize how long it was until my girlfriend called and asked if I got the food yet. I went to check for the food and I saw there was a order sitting but didn't know if it was mine. Apparently cutting butcher paper was more important than getting the order to me while it was fresh if it was made fresh. I'm not the kind of person to complain but with this type of service and lack of food quality it was hard to not say anything. I spent about $34, that's with a tip, for bad food.
The food was awesome but the hostess was kinda rude and didn't seem like she wanted to serve us. It was bad enough we almost left but I'm glad we stayed our waitress was great and the food was delicious.
