We came to stay for a night in our campervan, what a great site, it has facilities and lovely welcoming pub, we spent the day and night with the locals in the pub and they were so welcoming. They have live music most Saturdays a great fishing lake and campsite, what more could you ask for. I don't think they do food but there are plenty of other pubs for good around and local shops not far. We are already planning our next visit for a long weekend ????

Great campsite. Next to a railway line but you barely notice the odd train passing. On site fishing lake looked good. Toilets and showers are abit run down but perfectly usable. Staff made us feel very welcome

Must say. This is a brilliant place to stay. Cheap beer. Campsite is fantastic. Fishing lake. Good walks. The landlady. Is absolutely amazing. Old school says it as it should be. At 73. She dose a amazing job. With her son. Locals all decent people. I would recommend this place without hesitation. Just remember sue. Says it like it is. So if you feel like your going to be offended stay away proper Yorkshire lass showers on site as well as a railway. Don’t worry 2 much about the trains. You don’t hear them that much

Stayed for 2 nights coming up from Norwich. Friendly people, nice lake if you fancy a bit of fishing. Luckily, a live band was put on for the last night we were there. Highly recommend

This is a really nice camp site for all kinds of camping, you can have tents with or without electric and caravans. The owner is friendly and approachable. She couldn't do enough for us and the same for the cleaner. It's a family run business and they made sure the grass was cut ready for our arrival. There's a big lake with lots of good sized fish. The pub is nice for a few drinks on a night time with a pool table and darts. The only thing missing is a little play area for the kids. Maybe a little park with a few swings. Apart from that everything was perfect. We had a brilliant time and will deffinatly go again. It's cheap enough and we didn't spend that much on electric either. Whatever you don't use you get back at the end of your stay. I believe you can take big tents too, the awning/ gazebos are free. I know some places charge extra for these.
